To cook with Shemin’s Hot Indian Curry Paste, gently fry an onion (optional) until soft. Add one pot of paste and cook briefly to release the flavours. Stir in a tin of chopped tomatoes, then add up to 1kg of ingredients such as chicken, lamb, vegetables or chickpeas, and simmer until cooked through.
Try it in our Chicken Phall, or use it to turn any of our Indian curry recipes into a hotter, more intense dish.
Top Tip: Add a splash of water when cooking the paste to help the spices open up and create a smoother sauce.
