Quick & Easy Chicken Tikka Bites

A delicious and quick Indian dish and one that we cook in our house all the time. Delicious as a side when making a curry and you can also skewer the pieces.


1.5kg thigh or breast chicken fillets, cut into bite size pieces

250ml full fat natural Greek yogurt
100g Shemin’s Indian Curry Paste (chilli free, mild, medium or hot)
2 tbsp olive or rapeseed oil
2 tbsp fresh cream
1 heaped tsp Shemin’s Garam Masala
Juice of 1/2 lemon keep the rest for squeezing over the cooked chicken
A handful of chopped coriander and mint, keep the rest for garnishing
1 level tsp salt


1. Put the chicken in a glass bowl.
2. Mix all the marinade ingredients and pour on to the chicken. Mix well so that all the chicken is coated with the marinade .
3. Cover and keep in the fridge for at least a couple of hours to marinate.
4. Remove chicken from the fridge at least 1 hour before cooking so that the chicken is at room temperature.
5. Cook the chicken on a medium / hot BBQ or under a hot grill until slightly charred at the edges and cooked through.

Serve with raita, salad and one of Shemin’s Indian Breads
